today's vintage embroidery transfers make me think of being cozy, which is exactly what I want when fall comes along. I can't get enough of wrapping myself in vintage quilts & hand-knit sweaters while curled up on the couch...
the transfers were in the original mail-order envelope, which had this great graphic:

I grew up in Williamsport, and fondly remember the Sunday Grit. I think it ceased publication while I was in HS in the 80s.

I love to keep myself worn in my own creations too. My favorite quilts to sleep in happen to be the one I made. I guess it's the pride I take in my own creations and the fabric I choose to. I picked nice and soft materiel to make my quilt.
