1967 seventeen magazine & a coat confession

I got this vintage issue of seventeen at an estate sale recently:

there are so many great images inside, like this advertisement for the american wool council:

that coat makes me seriously lightheaded it's so fabulous. I've got it bad for vintage coats...real bad. like I counted* how many I have the other day - the numbers 1 and 8 are involved - and it's not the number that comes after seventeen...

*that count included raincoats & capes as well as winter/fall coats. I'm not sure why I think somehow that should make the total less ridiculous but I do.

So fab! At least you live somewhere where it actually gets cold enough to wear a coat. I don't have that excuse...and it still doesn't stop me :)

I am also terrible about coats - I LOVE them - luckily we have a small closet, so I'm forced to go through them from time to time.

you are one seriouslu lucky lady to own so many coats! :) you must really have something for every occasion. I myself have a shoe thing... and a dress thing. All these peter pan collars right now arent helping one bit haha x

I'm similarly bad about picking up vintage winter coats. SO CUTE. SO CHEAP (usually). I love the "Nilsson" sticker stuck to the front of your magazine... I love Harry Nilsson so.
