at least a purse always fits {part 2}

here's the second dress that doesn't fit but that I had to own:

obviously those closures where a huge part of why I had to buy it:

and here's the purse I would pair it with:

this concludes the dresses I own but can't wear series...stayed tuned for my upcoming series on the joy of thrifting small men's shoes & cardigans, can you really have too many? {just kidding!}

LOL! ok, i have to laugh b/c i have tooons of vintage dresses that don't fit me... blast! I just received one from Etsy this week, that yes, doesn't fit me.

i'm too big for those petite ladies back then. ;-) I can dream that one day i'll wear them (yeh right!) Your finds here are AMAZING!! love the blue velvet with that yellow bag!

Your desirable unwearables has me thinking about usefulness. Maybe it's just me (cause i'm very eccentric and slightly unpredictable) but i think those dresses would look great on a mannequin, displayed in your home. And to prove how eccentrically i really think, it would be even more awesome to make the mannequins into floor lamps that could display your fabulous dress finds!

Then again....it might just be a weird & crazy idea i had.

It's the velvet on both the dresses that kills me!

I don't think there's anything prettier than that colour blue... in anything. But paired with that amazing purse and those buttons - breathtaking! I'm giddy just looking at the pictures :oP

I bought a vintage dress online from VintageVixon years ago to get married in & it's still in my closet because it doesn't fit :( I just can't part with it though.

Ack! This dress blows. my. mind. I would totally have bought it too, even if it didn't fit. Its amazing just as an object, or artifact.
