McCall's Needlework magazine fall/winter 1954-55

mom - if you're reading this...I'd like a little red riding hood sweater please!

{if only you could knit me an itty bitty waist too...}

Those women - ladies I should say - are so elegant. Could you imagine spending your day in one of those tiny waisted, full skirts swishing around the office? Beautiful fashions.

oh, I so much like their skirts!
The right one with knitted pockets on the first picture looks hilarious!
Thanks for posting this!

Could your mom maybe make two red riding hood cardigans, I'd love one too! I do wish I knew how to knit...

I love those dresses. Thanks for reminding me how I am short and dumpy.

I always make sure to have my pearls on, and my nails done before I start *any* crochet project.

If that was me in the last pic, I'd have those heels off and my feet up on the table. There'd probably be snack nearby, too. I'd like those elf mittens! I'd also like to be a glamorous fities housewife. I don't have the itty bitty waist for it, either. It must be all the crafting snacks. : (

I want a Little Red Riding Hood sweater too! Or the drum majorette is pretty darn cute too.

My mother really DID decorate every room in crochet.
