wednesday = books

Today's book is another from the infamous stack:

Title: Best in Children's Books
Copyright: 1960
Publisher: Nelson Doubleday, Inc.

What's neat about this books is that each story is illustrated by a different artist - so I've picked my favorite 3.

Vladimir Bobri

Adrienne Adams

Andy Warhol

Have a good evening!

how wonderful! The illustrations are gorgeous. That stack seems neverending! It always surprises me when a book is found with illustrations by Andy Warhol. I have a cookbook illustrated by him. We forget that he had to start somewhere.

These are great illustrations! Would you mind if I used the little Miss Muffett at all - I would like to put it on a bag - if you're happy about it I'll send you a little something as a thank you x

I Love these books. Seeing this post reminds me of the whole collection I passed on a few years back for $10. I kick myself a lot over that decision. Oh I love your blog, I just found it!
