thank you feeling stitchy!

I'm very flattered my {adapted} embroidered button display hoop made the list of some of feeling stitchy's favorite patterns of 2011 :)

I recently...

found out where the closest post office to my work is & it just so happens to be in union station, a beautifully restored old train terminal. I've never been so happy to mail stuff before...especially now when it's all decorated for the holidays:

had a great time bowling with my co-workers {and not just because I managed to bowl a 110 & got to wear a vintage bowling shirt}:

got all home sick at joann fabrics when I saw this:

went to anthropologie & saw some pretty things but didn't buy anything:

{hope you're having a lovely weekend!}

first friday antique mall visits

there are several antique malls in KC that are only open the first weekend of the month so I checked out a couple new to me ones...

I didn't buy anything but I saw some really great signs I would love to own, like that winged corn cob {reminds me of the annual corn fest we have in the small town I grew up in} & that orange crush cap is pretty awesome too.

a trip to the museum

last weekend I enjoyed a visit to the nelson-atkins museum with my friends & their twins...

what a nice afternoon it was!
