The turtle is probably the best Collins bag I've ever seen. Killer score!

I am so envious! I've been looking for one of those purses in good condition for ages! I have fond memories of my grandmother having one with a peacock :-)

Showed the peacock to my daughter and she said, "I want it." You scored big!

Love the turtle bag!

When I worked retail, we had a daily customer who carried an Enid Collins box bag as her everyday purse. Brought back good memories of her, she was a sweet old lady.

Oh dear. First I had the daisy necklace in a later post. Now I can say I owned a Collins purse...my mothers was the type you've shown, mine was a small wooden box type.

I think this means I'M vintage. :)
