xmas @ the thrift store

I couldn't resist a last minute stop at the thrift store before the holiday yesterday...and I just had to pop back in here to share what I found.

a bulb nosed santa:



and a glitter covered ceramic snowman who was immediately placed on the mantle at home:


and best of all this little grouping which I did not arrange:


it was like the thrift store was wishing everyone who took the time to notice a merry christmas in it's own way :)

Holy smokes! I hope you grabbed that luggage. It's perfection!

I received that same red luggage for graduation back in the 60s - it was heavy, very hard and sturdy, and took me wonderful places until it wore out.
