winter 1971

when I hear the song "home for the holidays" this is the home I think of...

the home I grew up in & will once again wake up in this christmas morning. {although I don't like the snow as much as I did when I was that little 2 year old standing in the front yard, so I hope there's not too much of it...}

I'm going to take a little blog break now so I can focus all my energy on eating & drinking with my family - happy holidays everyone!

What a pretty house. Christmas Blessings to you and yours. Looking forward to doe-c-doe in 2010. Cheers, Diane

Your childhood home is a right out of central casting for a "Home for the Holidays" movie.

Merry Christmas, Gina!

I love that song and I love that picture - it's perfect right down that little orange crack in the middle right. That "flaw" actually makes the picture even more beautiful...
Have a wonderful holiday!

What a great house! What memories it must hold. Thanks for sharing that. Makes me want to go through my mom's photo albums and find pics of all the places we lived when I was a child. We moved around a lot.

Happy New Year! Love your blog!
