more combo photos
I was pretty much beside myself when I found that fisher price camper at an estate sale...it was the first time I'd seen one so I grabbed it even though the price was higher than my usual thrifting standards.
if only finding one of these would be so easy:

or even one of these:

I would have loved to find the camper too! I did manage to pick up the castle this summer, the kids are getting a lot of hours of play from the hiding spaces that I loved too when I was a kid.
But that woody wagon??? Holy smokes, I didnt even know it existed. Awesome.
I LOVE these combo photos! And I'm jealous of your paint-by-number collection.
that gnome is the best, G!
you are so talented! this weekend is thee big weekend...Dad's birthday gifts shall comprise of "Fire Walk With Me" and your "Dog n Shake" photo. I can't WAIT!!!!
I love the surprise of that black car with that retro background. You could totally do a narrative through your pictures - some nutty murder mystery in the great outdoors!
These photos are so great. My sisters and I spent hours playing with a barn like that when we were little, and we had the camper, too! I've never seen the station wagon before, though. How cool! : )
loveitloveitloveit......come by my blog and see the stuff i got at auction this weekend.
love these too! and that grocery-getter is fantastic! xo
I long for a camper van...my daughter has spied a new lego campervan kit which might satisfy my lustings for a while. We're going to stay with Vintage Vacations on the Isle of Wight in the summer. Camping in an airstream, complete with vintage crockery and bedlinen. Can't wait.
Oh I would have bought it too no matter the price - it looks in really good condition, the one from my childhood didn't fare as well! Great memories - thanks...
Love the photos! I'm so jealous you came up with that!
Oh, wow. I didn't realize how long it had been since I last commented. Geez. I've been so wrapped up in html and stuff, I barely came up for air, and I missed so many great posts!
I LOVE these photos. I love that you are combining your paint by numbers with your other objects. It's so clever, and they suit each other so well. I'm really enjoying them. The Fisher Price pieces are awesome!
(P.S. This is the blogger formerly known as Muddlepud. I've made a switch!)
These are so awesome--love these scenes! Fisher Price Little people were the most awesome thing ever! My brother and sisters and I got more playtime out of these than any other toy. Even when we were outside the recommended age! LOL. I was so disappointed when my daughter was little and they changed the size of them.
I have a huge vintage fisher price little people collection and your photos have really inspired me! My holy grail was the a-frame for a long time and I finally found it.
