so as I mentioned on monday, today I'm going to share more of what I thrifted last weekend:
the rocker was the big deal of the weekend - it was $5. although the straps for the seat are all broken & need to be replaced {so the cushion has no support} and the wood is a little worse for wear.
still, it seemed to need a good home, being left until the last sale of the day when all the other cool furniture had sold earlier. like the little kid picked last for kickball...
have a great weekend!

Lovely finds! The chair is gorgeous - fantastic bones on that one. I would have snatched it up, too!
I had a clock just like that as a kid!
LOVE the rocker! I have a chair very similiar- 4 legs though, not a rocker. the supports are plastic for the seat...mine needs cushions.
I love the coo coo clock sooooo adorable!
ooh! I looked for months for a rocker like that for my daughter's nursery before I gave up. nice score!
and where do you live? have you ever mentioned? I swear you could go to 100 chicago garage sales and never find anything like the stuff you find.
Oh that chair is great, and the straps should be easy enough to fix. I actually prefer it when the furniture I find needs some work - I love fixing them up and making them look way better then when I bought them!
And I love that reindeer. :)
how great is that chair!? And the shot of the rooster is wonderful!
you are truly lucky thrifter!
