Wow – that was a great weekend - lovely weather & one great rummage sale!
Rummage sales are definitely my favorite type of sale & I’m so happy that the warmer weather has ushered their season back once more!
Among other things I was able to grab 5 ziploc bags of fabric scraps. 2 large ones with great vintage scraps & then 3 of already cut fabrics. Here’s just a tiny example of the scraps:
{guess what’s going to be used for fabric Tuesday the next couple weeks?!}
2 of those 3 cut bags were circles for yo-yo making:
The third bag contained mostly diamond cut shapes but also this shape, I’m curious to know if anyone knows what quilt pattern these are for?
There was also a large plastic bin of trims, which I hunted through and grabbed all the ric rac I could:
I like the different packaging & fear that I will not be able to actually open & use these they’re so pretty.
Other assorted finds included another wooden mushroom, some pillowcases {like I need another one, let alone 4!}, awesome horse runner & a handmade ruler organizer.
And finally, this happy, sunny little guy was only 10 cents!
I can’t wait for next weekend, to see what sales are going on…happy, happy!

Those some marvelous finds! The shades of green rickrack are great. And you're going to have enough wooden shrooms soon to have an entire garden.
Boy did you hit the jackpot!!
What a great assortment of goodies!
great haul! And that little guy's just the icing on the cake!
oh oh oh! I want to shop with you!!! I'm jealous of your fabric finds, lucky you! Can't wait to see what you create.
sweet. I especially love all the rickrack. Personally, I think everything should have rickrack on it.
The circles of fabric with the "bite" out are for a clamshell quilt. What a great haul!
I'm SO jealous. In a good way.
Wow, g! You found some wonderful things. This is the kind of stuff I love to find at garage sales. LOVE it!
I am so in love with that horse runner! If I would have found that, I would have had a hard time containing myself. :)
Wow, what amazing finds! It's hard to believe that anyone would want to get rid of such great treasures. If you can't bear to use the rick-rack, I think those packages would look adorable in a shadow box.
Gorgeous fabrics!
Wish I could help with those odder shaped pieces, but I am terrible at quilt pattern names, despite owning a million quilts. LOL
wow!
ok, i need to start going to the rummage sales. great finds :)
Great score!!! Thanks for sharing your finds.
Yes! Clamshell quilt! I knew what quilt those pieces were for but didn't know the name of it.

Nice stuff! I love that the dog is such a happy yellow color. You've got me beat on what those circle fabric pieces are for. I don't know what pattern they could be used for.
Okay- for me- next weekend in rummage heaven. Everything is on the same day and all close in time. I've got a plan to hit several though.
you always get such good stuff! I'm loving all the wooden mushrooms, and that fabric!!! I'm jealous!
that is some good stuff! i especially like the red and white scalloped trim.
Sweet thrift! I thought my 7ft tall wooden cabinet for 5 bucks was exciting...I'll post it tomorrow.
