I thrifted a petticoat this weekend...it was a silly & frivolous purchase but it seemed an appropriate way to celebrate turning 41, and besides I thought it might be fun to photograph:
I just wore a petticoat in that exact shade of blue to work on Friday (with leggings underneath). One of the kids at my son's preschool came up to me and said, "Look mama, a ballerina!"
Hi, I love your blog! I am new to embroidery, and your blog really motivates me! I have one question though, I can't see the dog picture- I can only see the picture of the petticoat (CUTE, by the way!) My screen only shows "the dog seemed to lack my enthusiasm:" with no pic- any ideas? Thanks for the super blog! Robbin
happy belated birthday!!! i think your petticoat purchase was the PERFECT way to celebrate 41. i am right behind ya closing in on 40 with no petticoat in sight. any suggestions??? :)
Well congratulations on your wonderful purchase. I just bought my first vintage petticoat and I am 61. I also felt like it was a frivolous purchase but couldn't resist as I have always wanted one and this one was luscious! I will use it for Argentine tango dancing.
