this is my current embroidery wip {although there's no actual embroidery on it yet}:
I'm not sure where I'm going with it - I had a mental vision of what it would look like, but now I'm not so sure I can realize it in real life...I'm keeping my fingers crossed I can pull it off. {and yes, there are no hands on the clock because my vision involves incorporating a working clock mechanism - may well have bitten off more than I can chew on this one!}
moving onto today's embroidery transfers - I found these in the cut & loose pile:
can't help thinking about summer when I look at the second one...
happy stitching!
The cuckoo clock is amazing! Is it your own design, or from a kit?
ReplyDeleteAnd those transfers might be just the thing I need for my next project.
Oh, wow. It looks ambitious, but fabulous. I'd be willing to bet you pull if off perfectly. ;) What fabric is the applique part--felt or something else?
ReplyDeleteI think it looks fabulous too. Keep going, I think you might be surprised with the outcome! And I love the transfers for todays embroidery patterns! I think I am going to flip them, and draw them with prismacolor markers, frame em and put them up in my kitchen!!
ReplyDeleteIntriguing! Looking forward to seeing how it progresses.
ReplyDeletePlease please please PLEASE do this and put it on Etsy so I can have this lovely thing in my life!!!! I love it already!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see this when you're finished!!! Looks so kitsch and cute! Love the deer :)
ReplyDeleteI quite like how the clock is coming along even if it's not quite what you envisioned. I hope you keep at it a little longer!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the embroidery pattern. I am on an embroidery kick at the moment. Love what you started and I'm sure it will be as you envisioned it. Make it the way you see it in your head...it will probably turn out better than you imagined! have an incredible day!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Debbie

ReplyDeleteGreat designs! Embroidery is my stress relieveer!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the transfer designs. . . I love your cuckoo clock--somehow my 3 year old thought he had to have one for Christmas, so we have one and he is checking the time several times daily--great motivator:). . . can't wait to see what yours becomes.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap, G! This looks amazing already! I really hope you keep up with this project, I'm dying to see the finished piece.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Angela the cuckoo clock is beautiful. It has so much detail and beauty to it. I wish more people would make these types of clocks. They are so cool in their own way.
