  2. It makes me a little sad to find such embroidery in the thrift shop.
    All that work....discarded.
It IS very sweet though so score for you!

  3. I love these mother and daughter patterns. Thank you for taking the time to scan and clean them up -- it must be tricky capturing an image from a stamped design.

  4. I love finding messages on the back of prints and framed pieces. It adds so much to the sentimental value of the item for me.

  8. thanks everyone for your comments!

I'm so happy you're enjoying the mother/daughter patterns everyone! they are a challenge to clean up Martha, thank you so much for acknowledging that - but it's so worth it when I hear how much people like them :)

I find it really hard to see handmade things at the thrift store or sales...but at the same time I feel like it gives them a chance to find someone who will appreciate them so it's a good thing too :)

  9. How cool--I was googling for cross embroidery designs for a baptism blanket and this photo was in the mix--I have this hanging in my sewing room along with a matching one that says--Cheerfulness brings harmony!! I too found them in a thrift store!! Too Cool!!
