I'm back! well, sort of...I'm not sure how much I'll be blogging but I am giving etsy a go again.
life is good (thanks for the emails & comments of concern, I was very touched & apologize for leaving so abruptly and without any explanation) - I still thrift, make things & take photos, I just haven't felt like blogging was the way I wanted to share it but at the same time I haven't found another way either. I wish there was some kind of place that combined flickr, pinterest (here I am), instagram & blogger into one nice little package...that I might be able to get behind!
anyhow, I just wanted to say hi to whoever might still be out there & this little thrifted vintage sampler I finished the other day seemed like a nice way to do it...I hope you're doing fine :)
happy stitching,
g.
Hi back at you, Gina, and welcome back! This has really made my day -- the little sampler is so cute, and I'm excited to see what you're going to put on Etsy. Also hoping you might share some photos of your new home.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! It's funny to see you store your embroidery the same way as I do.
ReplyDeleteHi Gina. I've just fallen in love with your kittens hanging laundered mittens embroidery pattern on Pinterest. I'd love to have it. Is there a way to download it still? Thanks.

you're so sweet Martha! it's always so nice to hear from you :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so lazy Annet...it was the easiest way to get it hung up :P I never thought of it as a way to store though, that's a great idea - I have some room in one of my closets in fact...thanks!
Debbie - all the vintage embroidery patterns I've shared on the blog are downloadable or you can also get them via flickr, here's the link to the specific one I think you're referring to: http://www.flickr.com/photos/22309813@N02/3119454210/in/set-72157603907273295 hope that helps :)
Welcome back. ;-)
ReplyDeletei know what you mean...combine everything and no need to hop around the www so much.

Nice to see you're back! I've become addicted to pinterest, so I'll be looking for you there!
