thursday = embroidery

sometimes things just fall into place in such a way that you can't help but call it fate...recently I purchased a locket from the little room for a friend & the very same day I saw this post on wild olive. then a day or so later I bought a bag of scrap fabric at the thrift store & there was one little piece of this sweet pink chicken fabric that was perfect because she loves chickens. so when the locket arrived in the mail {very quickly btw considering all the pieces are made to order} I was all set to add a little bit of extra love:

yay fate!

and for this week's vintage embroidery pattern here are two more animals from the serial #1582 sheet I mentioned last week:

I love the jaunty way the crocodile/alligator is strolling along!

happy stitching :)

  4. I absolutely love the locket. I have a locket a college friend gave me that I've never wore, never even put pictures in, so I may just have to do this!
