Wow...just looking at these pictures gives the feel of being back in those times! The riding horses and rocket also seem so silly these days but wow were they ever exciting if you got a chance to ride one, which I didn't very often. Just to be able to sit in one was a thrill!

What I wonder is who EVER thought that Santa head was cute, avuncular, appealing in any way? It looks creepy!
You go to the antiques and thrift store with an artist's eye; I go with a housekeeper's eye and see mostly dust...thanks for sharing your vision!
