I'm making stuff but I can't show it on the blog yet since it's a gift...so here's something I thrifted recently instead:

okay, so I know clowns can be creepy...but I came across these in a bag of cut patterns & I really liked their vintage feel:

if they freak you out I'm sorry...I'll try to make it up to you next week :)

Yes, these clowns are freaking me out, but if anyone can make them darling - you can! Love to see what you can do with this pattern!

Freakish for sure! But I just kept scrolling down and that adorable gal with the red lipstick dressed in green & white gingham made me feel so much better!

I don't understand why people are scared of clowns?

Freaked out!!!

It took me many, many years to figure out the cause of my seemingly irrational fear of clowns.

In the 60's many dentists had a child sized chair in a room specially decorated for the kids. Our dentist had such a room with clowns on the wall. Sad ones, happy ones.

Our dentist was also cruel. He mocked our pain by not giving any numbing shots. He pinched us if we cried. The whole time those dern clowns hung on the walls.

Through my tears and without my glasses on I could just make out their faces. Imagine painted clown faces all sort of mutated and melty looking to a child's eyes.

That's why I am scared of clowns!

Clowns can be creepy but these guys have such fun expressions! I'll be linking to this. And Becky's story is horrifying! Yikes!
