thursday = embroidery

here's a quick little embroidered twist on carving initials in a tree - just in time for valentine's day:


I just scanned a piece of woodgrain contact paper into the computer, added the design then printed it out on that printable fabric stuff {if you do it this way don't forget, there's no need to flip the image} then stitched it...but you could just embroider right on the contact paper & turn it into a card:

The card is cute. It's a play on when people put their initials on trees. I'm going to make a card like this for my girlfriend for our anniversary. Thanks for the idea. It's really original.
