that title has nothing to do with these images of the dec. issues of marie claire idees that came in the mail over the weekend other than I thought of it when I saw this wreath photo:
* I made that comment about purple while out shopping with my friend jill the other day...we both laughed at how ridiculous I sounded. but it's kind of true & it all started with this pair of shoes I bought at target recently:
although I guess they're technically cranberry according to the description. so it appears I'm actually loving cranberry for fall this year. sorry purple...I hope we can still be friends.
You put up the most yummiest eye candy. Love, love, love that tea set. Wished I could find such lovely things at my local thrift stores.LOL Oh well, maybe some day.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good issue of Idees this time. Too bad I can't buy it locally and am too cheap to subscribe. LOL
ReplyDeleteI am still in love with lovely lavender...very unlike me to dig purple so much.
does the magazine have the pattern for those little fox plushies?
ReplyDeletePurple...or cranberry, I suppose...does make a great color for fall, though! It's more fun than all the traditional browns and oranges and suchlike, while still feeling seasonal.
ReplyDeletekeep looking Melissa - the more you go to the thrift stores the more you find...which is good & bad ;)
ReplyDeleteits unliked me to be so into purple-ish colors too sarah & jack - reluctant purple lovers unite!
le_records I do not see any info in the magazine about how to make the fox plushies...sorry.
I agree completely Katy!
thanks for your comments everyone - I'm so happy you stopped by today & hope you enjoyed the post as much as I enjoyed your little notes :)
Love the bags! One would make a great project while I dream of my spring vacation...
ReplyDeleteI made something using MArtha's pinecone art as inspiration- and it was so painful! Of course, I didn't take time to find gloves or anything! I love the white ball wreath- are they gumdrops? white berries? SO pretty!!
