thursday = embroidery

I thrifted a bunch of these crazy quilt blocks at an estate sale recently & wanted to try doing a simple line drawing embroidery on one:


I think a series hung together would look very nice so I will have to add that to my list of things to do.

moving onto today's embroidery sample:



this little house would be a great design to embroider for a house warming gift...

    Beautiful! I love the boldness of simple line embroidery, especially on a patterned background.

    Love the juxtaposition of the stark black lines of the camera against the soft colors of the quilt. Very cool
