also, I'm so happy to hear that so many of you appreciated what I posted & your thanks for sharing...that was really sweet, thank you. I did enjoy doing it & am going to miss it.
it will be interesting to see how this space evolves & me along with it...I hope you will continue to drop by & say hi.
enough with that...lets move forward & get our embroidery on!

*I'm going to continue to post embroidery transfers {although, not Vogart of course!} since I'm pretty sure there is no copyright issues with the older patterns. I'm not sure if I'll have enough to post them every week but I'll do what I can.also, I got the new anthropologie catalog the other day & found this image very inspiring, stitchy wise:

I found your blog through Feeling Stitchy Love your work and all the free bees, I love to embroider, and right now I'm doing a project that my daughter illustrated. I'll be checking in to your blog often :)
You find the best old transfers!
I understand your concern over copyrights, but I honestly don't think anything could happen to you for having posted the Vogart transfers. It's not the same as reproducing and selling them.
I completely understand your decision--although I wish that it wasn't an issue and you could continue to share your amazing finds freely. Regardless, I will continue to read your blog and be inspired I'm quite sure!
You couldn't get me to stop reading your blog. You could share gnome items every day & I would still be happy. I love gnomes as much as you do. Can't wait to see how your blog evolves. I still hope you share your thrift store finds. That how I found your blog.
I love that birdcage pillow!
I'm interested to see what you come up with and will continue to stop by what is one of my FAVORITE blogs!
I was just in Anthropologie the other day and noticed a lot of embroidered goodies, including tea towels and monogrammed napkins! very vintage looking too!
I think your blog is wonderful and I will for sure keep checking in everyday. I do hope that you continue to share your thrifty finds and the things you make from them. You have inspired so many of us readers to look at items differently-creatively-as components for something new and unique:) Have A Great Weekend!
i'm so sorry to read about the whole copyright issue. with or without those vintage posts i think your blog is always very inspiring and just great to read.
thanks for sharing these embroidery patterns. they're so sweet :)
