swing your partner 'round & 'round...

cause I learned to play a square dance on the accordion :)

and thanks to the halloween costume rack at the thrift store I even found the perfect skirt to wear while doing it! but first here are some great album covers to get you warmed up:

    Really nice tune, and I love your skirt -- it's perfect.

    In the 70s there was a sort of hippie tavern in Seattle that featured square dancing on the weekends. The band had a wonderful (and patient) Caller and it was great fun -- even better than polka.

    This was really fun to see. I grew up hanging out at my parents square dance club on Saturday nights and when I got old enough was able to learn myself. If you ever get the chance to try it out, it's really fun. Those records are neat! Makes we want to go out and do a little dancing :) And I love the skirt!!
