thursday = embroidery

my latest custom hoop is on it's way to a new home:


I'm hoping my thrifting turns up some new paint by numbers soon - they've been few & far between lately...

on the other hand, I did find an envelope thrifting recently for an embroidery co. I'd not heard of before:


anyone familar with them?

the logo would be very sweet stitched up I think, so I made it this week's vintage sample:

    Thank you for the sample! I saw a horse color by number while thrifting and thought of you. It wasn't quite good enough though.

    You are right - this would be so much fun to stitch! Thank you for sharing! I will be on the look out for paint by numbers for you though I must admit, I'm not sure I have ever seen one around here. I'll keep my fingers crossed :)

    mom walds place - I know what you mean about some paint by numbers not being done very well...I've seen some really bad ones too! thanks for thinking of me though!

    yes silver sister I do think there's something extra special about stitching a girl stitching...I'm so happy you like the pattern!

    oh corinne you're so sweet to keep a look out for me - they can be hard to find & prices seem to be all over the board so please don't feel bad if you don't find any...I really don't need anymore it's just that there are so many different designs I can't help myself ;)
