So you own all these books? How lucky you are. I've just started collecting retro/vintage housekeeping and textbooks for altered art. I could spend hours just flipping through an old Heloise book. It makes me nostalgic and sort of childlike. Great blog! I came for the crafts, I stay for the books :)
I think Warhol started out doing these kinds of advertisements during the late 50's/early 60's. They were really great too. Always has a wonderful style.
