it feels like weeks since I've seen the sun. october has been so cold, wet & dreary...I think some brightly colored silly illustration is called for:

    Love these! I just found an old copy on Amazon and also another Magnus book illustrated by Neal Levin. I'm thinking....of course....embroidered quilt blocks!

    Oh, it has been so grey here in Mississippi for what seems like eternity. There illustrations were perfect to brighten the day!

    These pages are so cheerful and fun. I especially like the student in sheep's clothing. It reminds me of the beginning of a school year, when as a teacher, I can only wonder what hidden qualities students have under their first-days-of-school behavior.
