I miss my polka dot pants

the couch is where my mom & I spent the whole of the long holiday weekend & it was glorious!

she knitted:

and I embroidered:


we watched movies & HGTV...I wore my new dotty flannel bottoms pretty much all the time, except for brief jaunts out into the world to buy more supplies or food:

it was so relaxing & fun...but now its back to the regular old grind & I can't help it, I'm a little sad.

p.s. thanks for all the comments of thanks for the holiday embroidery designs - I'm so happy to share them with you. also, thanks for all the nice comments about the hoop collages - I can't believe 3 sold right away!
