thrifted painting

it was a good thrifting weekend - I went to a couple church rummage sales, estate sales & of course that pick-me-up visit to the thrift store friday after work. in addition to the quilt I also got this painting:


it reminds me of where I grew up & I love that its all about fall. plus those little birch trees on the right, they just kill me...

it was $15 & is unsigned.

I'll share more of what I got over the next couple of days...

    Your picture is perfect for the autumn season. I love how you put the branch and bird near it. They really accentuate the painting.

    i love that branch you put in that little vase. i think it makes the painting look more realistic. love it!
