little pick-me-up

yesterday I went to the thrift store after work. it was a long week & I needed a little pick-me-up.

meet the $12.00 pick-me-up quilt:


the thrill of the find is great, but I have to say that right up there is the feeling I get when I've gotten the quilt home & hang it up to air out.


I love to watch them stretch their legs & lazily dance in the breeze...

I run my hands across them & tell them how pretty they are.

    You deserve it! I'm the same, whenever I'm blue or stressed I head to the thrift stores. Very therapeutic.

    People always tell me I'm lucky in my thrifty finds. I don't think I'm lucky - I think I'm persistent! And hard work pays off. Good find, lady.

    what a great find. we found my daughter a skateboard the other day thrifting. I'm trying to get my kids more into thrifting so I can do it again too.

    Wow beautiful. I'm trying to make a quilt out of the stars we recieved fom our homeschooling project. I hope I can get it done before Christmas.



    I have never made a quilt before, I hope it turns out almost as beautiful as the one you have shown here.
