At several different sales I’ve picked up some undone sun-catchers because they were so cheap, reminded me of my childhood & I just thought I should be able to find something to do with them.
So last weekend I got this idea to try filling one with patterned papers instead of those little pellets that melt.
Here’s the result:

It was a quick & satisfying little project & it came out just like I imagined, which is always a fun bonus.
Have a great weekend!
Looks so cute! I remember having similar suncatchers when i was little too! I like!
ReplyDeleteI remember those, too! What a clever idea, G!
ReplyDeleteI love that you totally put a new spin on an old classic. Is there anything sweeter than finding a new way to revive the past? :D

Oh you are too dang clever! I LOVE IT! so cool! It would be fun to do a combo - melting pellets in a couple of spots, and then paper in others. I always loved those things! :-)
ReplyDeleteI had forgotten all about those! I remember I had a super cool strawberry shortcake one that was also a keychain!
ReplyDeleteCute mushroom! I just bought a pair of mushroom salt and pepper shakers today, and I totally thought of you when I got them. :)
